The Manhattan Fire District conducts many different safety talks and presentations to Manhattan and Peotone Lenox of all ages. The majority of the safety talks are to younger students and Boy and Girl Scout troops. We also assist with various career day presentations, discussing what a firefighter’s life is like and all the training needed.
